The individuals served by a clinically managed high-intensity residential care program are individuals who are not sufficiently stable to benefit from outpatient treatment regardless of intensity of service.\n\nB. Before a clinically managed high-intensity residential service program may admit an individual, the individual shall meet the criteria for admission as defined by the provider's policies. The provider's policy regarding admission shall at a minimum require the individual to:\n\n1. Meet diagnostic criteria for a substance use disorder or addictive disorder of moderate to high severity as defined by the DSM; and\n\n2.
