The Children with Special Health Care Needs Program and program subcontractors shall protect the privacy of the client's personal health information and the confidentiality of medical records in accordance with  all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.\n\nB. Access to  minors' health records and the authority to consent to surgical and medical treatment for certain minors shall be administered in accordance with §§ 20-124.6 and 54.1-2969 of the Code of Virginia, respectively.\n\nC. Surveillance and investigation shall be consistent with §§ 32.1-39, 32.1-40, 32.1-41 and 32.1-66 of the Code of Virginia.\n\nD. The department's  Children with  Special Health Care Needs Program and its contractors shall maintain security and confidentiality of databases in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.","path":["Title 12.
