The nursing facility shall maintain a quality assessment and assurance committee consisting of at least the following individuals:\n\n1. The director of nursing services;\n\n2. A physician designated by the nursing facility; and\n\n3. At least three other members of the nursing facility staff, one of whom demonstrates an ability to represent the rights and concerns of residents.\n\nB. The quality assessment and assurance committee shall:\n\n1. Meet at least quarterly to identify issues which would improve quality of care and services provided to residents; and\n\n2. Develop and implement appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficiencies.\n\nC. The nursing facility shall document compliance with these requirements.","path":["Title 12.
