Laboratory and pathology services each patient admitted to the outpatient surgical hospital shall receive appropriate laboratory testing according to 42 CFR Part 493.\n\nB. All tissue removed shall be submitted for histological examination by a pathologist and a written report of his examination provided to the attending physician.
