{"data":{"id":"us-va/16vac30-50-10","jurisdiction":"us-va","citation":"16VAC30-50-10","heading":"Definitions","body":"This chapter is issued to provide procedures to identify and resolve disputed issues promptly through informal dispute resolution or hearing.\n\nThe following words and terms, when used in this chapter, shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n\n\"Act\" means the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act.\n\n\"Commission\" means the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission.\n\n\"Employer\" includes the employer's insurance carrier unless the context otherwise requires.\n\n\"Jurisdiction claim number\" or \"JCN\" is the case number assigned by the commission and should be on all documents filed with the commission. This is different than the claim number from an insurance carrier.\n\n\"Signature\" is a person's endorsement and may be handwritten, typed, electronic, or any other form allowed by the Code of Virginia.","path":["Title 16.
