The following words and terms when used in this chapter shall have the meaning ascribed to them in § 54.1-3500 of the Code of Virginia:\n\n\"Behavioral health technician\"\n\n\"Behavioral health technician assistant\"\n\n\"Board\"\n\nB. The following words and terms when used in this chapter shall have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n\n\"DBHDS\" means the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.\n\n\"NPDB\" means the National Practitioner Data Bank.\n\n\"Supervision\" means the ongoing process performed by a supervisor who monitors the performance of the person supervised.\n\n\"Supervisor\" means an individual who assumes responsibility for the activities of a person under supervision and who provides supervision consistent with the training and experience of both the supervisor and the person under supervision and with the type of services being provided.","path":["Title 18.
