{"data":{"id":"us-va/18vac115-80-10","jurisdiction":"us-va","citation":"18VAC115-80-10","heading":"Definitions","body":"The following words and terms when used in this chapter have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n\n\"Board\" means the Virginia Board of Counseling.\n\n\"DBHDS\" means the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.\n\n\"Face-to-face\" means the physical presence of the individuals involved in the supervisory relationship or the use of technology that provides real-time, visual, and audio contact among the individuals involved.\n\n\"Mental health professional\" means a person who by education and experience is professionally qualified and licensed in Virginia to provide counseling interventions designed to facilitate an individual's achievement of human development goals and remediate mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders and associated distresses that interfere with mental health and development.\n\n\"Qualified mental health professional\" or \"QMHP\" means the same as that term is defined in § 54.1-3500 of the Code of Virginia.\n\n\"Qualified mental health professional-trainee\" or \"QMHP-trainee\" means the same as that term is defined in § 54.1-3500 of the Code of Virginia.","path":["Title 18.
