The department or its contractor shall assign a sufficient number of event officials to each licensed  event who shall discharge the duties established in this chapter and to assure compliance with Chapter 8.1 (§ 54.1-828 et seq.) of Title 54.1 of the Code of Virginia and this chapter.\n\nB.
