A supervisor refresher training program must be one day. The supervisor refresher training program must review federal and state regulations, discuss changes to the regulations, if applicable, and developments in state-of-the-art procedures. A review of the following topics from the initial accredited asbestos training program must be included in the asbestos supervisor refresher training program:\n\n1. Potential health effects related to asbestos exposure;\n\n2. Employee personal protective equipment, including medical monitoring and respiratory protection program;\n\n3. Additional safety hazards and medical monitoring;\n\n4. Review of the asbestos NESHAP, OSHA, and Department of Transportation requirements; and\n\n5. Review of Virginia regulations concerning asbestos licensing, removal, and disposal.\n\nB. A written closed-book examination must be included in the refresher training program. The examination will consist of no fewer than 50 questions. The passing score will be 70% correct. Persons who pass the refresher training program examination will receive a certificate of completion as specified in this chapter.","path":["Title 18.
