The following topics will be accepted for CPE credit, all as related to home inspection services:\n\n1. Site conditions;\n\n2. Exterior components;\n\n3. Roof components;\n\n4. Structural components;\n\n5. Electrical systems;\n\n6. Cooling systems;\n\n7. Heating systems;\n\n8. Insulation, moisture management systems, and ventilation systems;\n\n9. Mechanical exhaust systems;\n\n10. Plumbing systems;\n\n11. Interior components;\n\n12. Fireplaces, fuel-burning appliances, chimney, and vent systems;\n\n13. Common permanently installed kitchen appliances;\n\n14. Home inspection reporting requirements;\n\n15. Responsibilities to the client, including required home inspection contract elements;\n\n16. Laws and regulations applicable to the profession; and\n\n17. Content areas covered by the board's approved examination.\n\nB. In addition to the topics provided in subsection A of this section, a licensee may receive a maximum of four contact hours of CPE credit for completion of training required to maintain credentials related to home inspection services, including asbestos inspection, lead inspection, and radon testing.\n\nC. A licensee may apply completion of the NRS CPE course, as applicable, toward the 16 contact hours of CPE required for license renewal.","path":["Title 18.
