The following course topics will be accepted for CPE credit for wastewater works operators:\n\n1. Wastewater works operations;\n\n2. Monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting treatment processes and systems, including technology;\n\n3. Operating and maintaining equipment;\n\n4. Security and safety procedures;\n\n5. General science and mathematical principles;\n\n6. Administrative processes and procedures applicable to licensure; and\n\n7. Laws and regulations applicable to the profession.\n\nB. Of the total 18 hours required, a minimum of four contact hours pertaining to utility management is required of Class 1 and Class 2 wastewater works operators.","path":["Title 18.
