Tattooing curriculum requirements specified in 18VAC41-50-280 C must be taught over a minimum of 1,000 hours as follows:\n\n1. 350 hours must be devoted to theory pertaining to 18VAC41-50-280 C 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9;\n\n2. 150 hours must be devoted to theory pertaining to 18VAC41-50-280 C 3; and\n\n3. The remaining 500 hours must be devoted to practical training to include tattooing curriculum requirements and a minimum of 100 performances pertaining to 18VAC41-50-280 C 7.\n\nB. Curriculum and performance requirements specified in 18VAC41-50-280 D and E must be taught over a minimum of 200 clock hours for permanent cosmetic tattooing program and 200 clock hours for a master permanent cosmetic tattooing program.\n\nC. A minimum of 60 performances must be completed as part of the permanent cosmetic tattooing instruction, including:\n\nEyebrow\n\n10 performances\n\nMicroblading\n\n10 performances\n\nLip Liner\n\nfive performances\n\nLip Color\n\nfive performances\n\nEyeliner\n\n10 performances\n\nScalp micropigmentation\n\n20 performances\n\nD. A minimum of 55 performances must be completed as part of the master permanent cosmetic tattooing instruction, including:\n\nLip (cleft lip repigmentation)\n\nfive performances\n\nAreola\n\n10 performances\n\nBlush application\n\n10 performances\n\nCamouflage\n\n10 performances\n\nScar repigmentation\n\n10 performances\n\nEyeshadow\n\n10 performances\n\nE. Completion of performances are determined as follows:\n\n1. Two complete eyebrows constitutes one performance;\n\n2. Two complete eye liners constitutes one performance;\n\n3. One complete lip liner (bottom or top lip separately) constitutes one performance;\n\n4. One complete lip color (bottom or top lip separately) constitutes one performance; and\n\n5.
