The contact lens endorsement examination administered by the board will include the following topics:\n\n1. Rigid lens verification;\n\n2. Lens identification;\n\n3. Keratometry;\n\n4. Slit lamp;\n\n5. Slides (fitting patterns, edge patterns, quality stains); and\n\n6. Insertion and removal.\n\nB. An applicant must pass the written and practical examination approved by the board within two years of the initial test date.
