When a child is placed in foster care, the period of temporary absence for purposes of TANF and TANF maintenance of effort shall not exceed 180 days unless a local department of social services determines that return of the child to the home would pose an unnecessary risk to the child's health, safety, or well-being and that a longer period of temporary absence is warranted.","path":["Title 22.
