Trash receptacles shall be located as close to the right-of-way line as possible. The site shall have a clearly defined entrance and exit. Appropriate screening and landscaping may be required.\n\nThe site shall be maintained in a neat condition and sprayed as needed to minimize flies, odors, etc. VDOT will remove improperly maintained receptacles from the right-of-way at the owner's expense.\n\nThe permittee shall secure written permission from the adjacent property owners prior to locating the receptacle within the state right-of-way.","path":["Title 24.
