Any requirements of ordinances adopted by the governing body that are not in conflict with these provisions shall become the department's requirements in that locality and govern. Any street proposed for addition to the secondary system of state highways maintained by the department shall comply with applicable requirements as herein provided or the local ordinance, when such provisions are not in conflict with this chapter.","path":["Title 24.
