Except as specified in subsection B of this section, equipment, a cabinet used for the storage of food, or a cabinet used to store cleaned and sanitized equipment, utensils, laundered linens, and single-service and single-use articles may not be located:\n\n1. In locker rooms;\n\n2. In toilet rooms;Pf\n\n3. In garbage rooms;\n\n4. In mechanical rooms;\n\n5. Under sewer lines that are not shielded to intercept potential drips;\n\n6. Under leaking water lines including leaking automatic fire sprinkler heads or under lines on which water has condensed;\n\n7. Under open stairwells; or\n\n8. Under other sources of contamination.\n\nB. A storage cabinet used for linens or single-service or single-use articles may be stored in a locker room.\n\nC. If a mechanical clothes washer or dryer is provided, it shall be located (i) so that the washer or dryer is protected from contamination and (ii) only where there is no exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; or unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.","path":["Title 2.
