This chapter applies to vessels on waters within the territorial limits of the Commonwealth (both public and private waters), except:\n\n1. Vessels used for noncommercial use;\n\n2. Vessels leased, rented, or chartered to another for the latter's noncommercial use;\n\n3. Commercial vessels propelled by sail not carrying passengers for hire; or\n\n4. Commercial barges not carrying passengers for hire.\n\nB. Terms used in this chapter shall have the same meanings as the terms defined in 4VAC15-430-20.","path":["Title 4.
