Ground vibration, measured as peak particle velocity resulting from blasting, shall not exceed the limits set forth in Figure 1 at any inhabited building not owned or leased by the operator, without approval of the director. A seismographic record shall be provided for each blast.\n\nB. Seismic monitoring of each blast shall be conducted, unless the blast contains no more than 500 pounds of explosives and the scaled distance, Ds, is 90 feet or more, as calculated with the following scaled distance formulas:\n\nWhere:\n\nW = Maximum charge weight of explosives in pounds per delay period of 8.0 milliseconds or more.\n\nD = Distance in feet from the blast site to the nearest inhabited building not owned or leased by the mine operator.","path":["Title 4.
