Each person registered with the department as a special conservator of the peace by the department shall complete the compulsory in-service training standard once during each 12-month period of registration. In-service training must be completed within 12 months prior to the expiration date.\n\nB. The in-service training hour requirement by category, excluding examinations, practical exercises and range qualification, shall be as follows:\n\n1. Special conservators of the peace – 8 hours\n\n2. Firearms requalification, if applicable.\n\nC. The in-service training course content by category, for special conservator of the peace excluding examinations, practical exercises and range qualification shall be as follows:\n\n1.
