The department may recover costs of any investigation and adjudication of any violations of the Code of Virginia or of this chapter that result in a sanction, including fine, probation, suspension, revocation or denial of any license, certification or registration.  Such costs shall be in addition to any monetary penalty that may be imposed.\n\nB.
