All regulations enacted by the Commonwealth of Virginia and William \u0026 Mary are duly enforced. Motor vehicles in violation of this chapter may be subject to penalties in accord with university policies, including citation, fine, immobilization, towing, or impoundment, at the owner's risk and expense.\n\nB. If a vehicle is displaying a valid William \u0026 Mary parking permit and incurs a citation for violation of this chapter, the registered owner of the permit will be held responsible for all citations and fines.\n\nC. If a vehicle is not displaying a valid William \u0026 Mary parking permit and incurs a citation for violation of this chapter, the registered owner of the vehicle will be held responsible for all citations and fines. However, the registered owner of a vehicle is ultimately responsible for all violations issued to that vehicle, regardless of who is operating the vehicle.\n\nD. Any person shall abide by instructions of William \u0026 Mary police officers or parking services enforcement personnel.
