Understanding of mathematical principles that are the basis of many computer applications;\n\n2. Knowledge of the functions, capabilities, and limitations of computers and computer systems;\n\n3. Knowledge of the ethical, moral, and legal issues associated with applications in programming and computer science;\n\n4. Knowledge of programming in at least two widely used programming languages, including definition, structure, and comparison;\n\n5. Knowledge of computers and computer systems and their applications;\n\n6. Knowledge of data structures and algorithms;\n\n7. Understanding of and proficiency in grammar, usage, and mechanics and their integration in writing; and\n\n8. Understanding of and proficiency in pedagogy to incorporate writing as an instructional and assessment tool for candidates to generate, gather, plan, organize, and present ideas in writing to communicate for a variety of purposes.","path":["Title 8.
