Transportation provided for or used by students shall comply with local, state, and federal laws relating to:\n\n1. Vehicle safety and maintenance;\n\n2. Licensure of vehicles;\n\n3. Licensure of drivers;\n\n4.  Child passenger safety, including requiring children to wear appropriate seat belts or restraints for the vehicle in which they are being transported;\n\n5.  Vehicle liability insurance; and\n\n6. Safety measures that take into consideration the age and disabling conditions of students.\n\nB. All vehicles used to transport students to school activities shall be equipped with first aid kits, a fire extinguisher, and two-way communication devices.\n\nC. Individual student emergency information including currently prescribed and over-the-counter medications, significant medical problems, and any allergies shall accompany students when they are being transported.","path":["Title 8.
