The center shall have emergency procedures and written safety rules for swimming or wading or follow the posted rules of public pools that are:\n\n1. Posted in the swimming area when the pool is located on the premises of the center; and\n\n2. Explained to children participating in swimming or wading activities.\n\nB. The center shall maintain (i) written permission from the parent of each child who participates in swimming or wading and (ii) a statement from the parent advising of a child's swimming skills before the child is allowed in water above the child's shoulder height.\n\nC. Staff shall have a system for accounting for all children in the water.\n\nD. Outdoor swimming activities shall occur only during daylight hours unless underwater and deck lighting is provided.","path":["Title 8. Education","Agency 20. State Board of Education","Chapter 780.
