On each floor of each building used by children;\n\n2. Accessible to outdoor play areas;\n\n3. On field trips; and\n\n4. Wherever children are in care.\n\nB. Each first aid kit shall be easily accessible to staff but not to children.\n\nC. The required first aid kits shall include at a minimum:\n\n1. Scissors;\n\n2. Tweezers;\n\n3. Gauze pads;\n\n4. Adhesive tape;\n\n5. Band-aids, assorted types;\n\n6. An antiseptic cleansing solution /pads;\n\n7. Thermometer;\n\n8. Triangular bandages;\n\n9. Single use gloves such as surgical or examination gloves; and\n\n10. The first aid instructional manual.\n\nD. The following emergency supplies shall be required at the center and be available on field trips:\n\n1. Activated charcoal preparation (to be used only on the direction of a physician or the center's local poison control center); and\n\n2. An ice pack or cooling agent.\n\nE. The following nonmedical emergency supplies shall be required:\n\n1. One working, battery-operated flashlight on each floor of each building that is used by children; and\n\n2.
