The following emergency supplies shall be in the family day home, accessible to outdoor play areas, on field trips, in vehicles used for transportation and wherever children are in care:\n\n1. A first aid kit that contains at a minimum:\n\na. Scissors;\n\nb. Tweezers;\n\nc. Gauze pads;\n\nd. Adhesive tape;\n\ne. Adhesive bandages, assorted sizes;\n\nf. Antiseptic cleaning solution or pads;\n\ng. Digital thermometer;\n\nh. Triangular bandages;\n\ni. Single use gloves such as surgical or examination gloves;\n\nj. In homes located more than one hour's travel time from a healthcare facility, activated charcoal preparation (to be used only on the direction of a physician or the home's local poison control center); and\n\nk. First aid instructional manual.\n\n2. An ice pack or cooling agent.\n\nB. The first aid kit shall be readily accessible to caregivers and inaccessible to children.","path":["Title 8.
