{"data":{"id":"us-va/9vac25-875-40","jurisdiction":"us-va","citation":"9VAC25-875-40","heading":"Definitions","body":"For the purposes of this part only, the following words and terms have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n\n\"Act\" means the Virginia Erosion and Stormwater Management Act (VESMA), Article 2.3 (§ 62.1-44.15:24 et seq.) of Chapter 3.1 of Title 62.1 of the Code of Virginia.\n\n\"Development\" means land disturbance and the resulting landform associated with the construction of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, recreation, transportation, or utility facilities or structures or the clearing of land for nonagricultural or nonsilvicultural purposes. The regulation of discharges from development, for purposes of stormwater management, does not include the exclusions found in 9VAC25-875-860.","path":["Title 9. Environment","Agency 25.
