Code § 33.2-220","heading":"Transfer of interest in and control over certain highways, highway rights-of-way, and landings","body":"Notwithstanding any contrary provision of this title, the Board, upon receipt of a written request from a public access authority established pursuant to Title 15.2 and without first abandoning or discontinuing such highway, highway right-of-way, or landing, including a wharf, pier, or dock, may transfer to such requesting authority any and all rights and interests of the Board in a highway, highway right-of-way, or landing as the Board may deem in the public interest.
