Code § 33.2-356","heading":"Funding for extraordinary repairs","body":"Notwithstanding any contrary provision of this Code, the Board has the authority to provide, from revenues available for construction programs pursuant to § 33.2-358, except for revenues pledged to secure any bonds issued for transportation purposes, for exceptionally heavy expenditures for repairs or replacements made necessary by highway damage resulting from extraordinary accidents, vandalism, weather conditions, or acts of God as well as to respond to federal funding initiatives that require matching funds.1986, Sp.
