Code § 38.2-6001","heading":"Viatical settlement brokers","body":"No person shall act as a viatical settlement broker with a resident of this Commonwealth without first obtaining a license from the Commission in accordance with Article 6.1 (§ 38.2-1865.1 et seq.) of Chapter 18 of this title. If there is more than one viator on a single policy, and the viators are residents of different states, the viatical settlement broker shall be required to hold a license in the state in which the viator having the largest percentage resides or, if the viators hold equal ownership, the viatical settlement broker shall be required to hold a license in the state of residence of one viator agreed upon in writing by all the viators.2003, c. 717.","path":["Title 38.2.
