{"data":{"id":"us-vt/11-v.s.a.-1602","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"11 V.S.A. § 1602","heading":"Consumer protection; enforcement","body":"(a) For purposes of this section, “consumer” means an actual or prospective subscriber, purchaser, member, assignee, or transferee of a cooperative interest with respect to a residential unit. A “consumer” includes a co-obligor or surety for a consumer.\n(b) To the extent that a violation of a provision of this chapter affects a consumer, that violation is deemed to be a violation of 9 V.S.A. § 2453 and is subject to all rights, obligations, and penalties provided under 9 V.S.A. chapter 63.\n(c) Failure or neglect to provide to subscribers or purchasers the documents and disclosures required by section 1601 of this title is deemed to be a violation of this section.","path":["Title 11: Corporations, Partnerships and Associations","Chapter 014: Cooperative Housing Ownership Act"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/11/014/01602","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T15:57:21Z","sha256":"17e0b679ff76475faffcf60b4cd7a4c9abda23a5d40858643965ce4e0cdab097","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/11-v.s.a.-1601","next":"us-vt/11-v.s.a.-1603"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
