{"data":{"id":"us-vt/14a-v.s.a.-1310","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"14A V.S.A. § 1310","heading":"Duty to provide information to trust director or trustee","body":"(a) Subject to section 1311 of this title, a trustee shall provide information to a trust director to the extent the information is reasonably related both to:\n(1) the powers or duties of the trustee; and\n(2) the powers or duties of the director.\n(b) Subject to section 1311 of this title, a trust director shall provide information to a trustee or another trust director to the extent the information is reasonably related both to:\n(1) the powers or duties of the director; and\n(2) the powers or duties of the trustee or other director.\n(c) A trustee that acts in reliance on information provided by a trust director is not liable for a breach of trust to the extent the breach resulted from the reliance, unless by so acting the trustee engages in intentional misconduct.\n(d) A trust director that acts in reliance on information provided by a trustee or another trust director is not liable for a breach of trust to the extent the breach resulted from the reliance, unless by so acting the trust director engages in intentional misconduct.","path":["Title 14A: Trusts","Chapter 013: Uniform Directed Trust Act"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/14A/013/01310","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:16:59Z","sha256":"91883beb74d7897b020edfc4e5a676e80d7d37778695836113dfa404ae77fbf8","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/14a-v.s.a.-1309","next":"us-vt/14a-v.s.a.-1311"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
