{"data":{"id":"us-vt/15-v.s.a.-1115","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"15 V.S.A. § 1115","heading":"Limitation or denial of visitation","body":"In any proceeding under this title, the fact that a parent has been convicted of any of the following offenses against the parent’s child shall be a ground for limiting or denying visitation:\n(1) sexual assault as defined in 13 V.S.A. § 3252;\n(2) aggravated sexual assault as defined in 13 V.S.A. § 3253;\n(3) lewd and lascivious conduct as defined in 13 V.S.A. § 2601;\n(4) sexual activity by a caregiver as defined in 33 V.S.A. § 6913;\n(5) kidnapping as defined in 13 V.S.A. § 2405(a)(1)(D);\n(6) lewd and lascivious conduct with a child as defined in 13 V.S.A. § 2602;\n(7) prohibited acts in violation of 13 V.S.A. § 2635;\n(8) sexual exploitation of children as defined in 13 V.S.A. chapter 64; or\n(9) an attempt to commit any offense listed in this section.","path":["Title 15: Domestic Relations","Chapter 021: Abuse Prevention","Subchapter 001: GENERAL PROVISIONS"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/15/021/01115","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:00Z","sha256":"f0f5945595893e8711f2c533854e838de6216f15a264f25898f412fae330e4d0","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/15-v.s.a.-1111-1114","next":"us-vt/15-v.s.a.-1140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
