{"data":{"id":"us-vt/16-v.s.a.-1551","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"16 V.S.A. § 1551","heading":"Secondary student eligibility","body":"(a) A secondary student shall be enrolled in a program of part-time or full-time career technical education at a career technical center if he or she:\n(1) applies for the program; and\n(2) is accepted into the program by the career technical center.\n(b) A secondary student who is eligible to enroll in a career technical center, but who resides in a sending school district, and who so applies, shall be enrolled for academic education in the high school associated with the career technical center if:\n(1) the sending school district operates a high school but does not provide daily transportation at its expense to and from the career technical center; or\n(2) the sending school district does not operate a high school.\n(c) A secondary student who enrolls in a career technical center may enroll part-time in any school to which he or she would otherwise be entitled to enroll for full-time attendance.","path":["Title 16: Education","Chapter 037: Career Technical Education","Subchapter 004: ELIGIBILITY AND TUITION"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/16/037/01551","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:00Z","sha256":"769434d0e7b5e6299c3838b19f1814bf52182956cde4c38f1d1f1511d89c35d4","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/16-v.s.a.-1546","next":"us-vt/16-v.s.a.-1551a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
