{"data":{"id":"us-vt/16-v.s.a.-1697","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"16 V.S.A. § 1697","heading":"Fees","body":"(a) Each individual applicant and licensee shall be subject to the following fees:\n(1) Processing of application $50.00 per application\n(2) Issuance of Level I license $50.00 per year\nfor the term\nof the license\n(3) Issuance of Level II license $50.00 per year\nfor the term\nof the renewal\n(4) Official copy of licenses $10.00\n(5) [Repealed.]\n(6) Issuance of provisional, emergency, $50.00 per year\nor apprenticeship license for the term of the license\n(7) Peer review process $1,200.00 one-time fee\n(8) Pre-application criminal background $25.00\ndetermination\n(b) Pursuant to qualifications and procedures determined by the Secretary, the Agency shall, upon request, waive application fees to qualified military members and military spouses.\n(c) Fees collected under this section shall be credited to special funds established and managed pursuant to 32 V.S.A. chapter 7, subchapter 5, and shall be available to the Agency to offset the costs of providing those services.","path":["Title 16: Education","Chapter 051: Professional Educators"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/16/051/01697","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:00Z","sha256":"9c4bab1a322c46bb829ab7ca1ef3cb1219b0ee7ad494b9e060fbc6e44e1ccf66","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/16-v.s.a.-1696","next":"us-vt/16-v.s.a.-1698"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
