{"data":{"id":"us-vt/19-v.s.a.-2614","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"19 V.S.A. § 2614","heading":"Legislative approval [Repealed effective July 1, 2026]","body":"If the Secretary determines that a proposal that requires legislative approval under section 2613 of this title is in the public interest and should be pursued, the Secretary shall submit to the General Assembly:\n(1) a description of the proposal, including:\n(A) a summary of the project scope and timeline;\n(B) the rights and obligations of the State and private entity partner or partners, including the level of involvement of all partners in any ongoing operations, maintenance, and ownership of a facility;\n(C) the nature and amount of State funding of the project and of any ongoing State financial responsibility for ongoing maintenance or operation costs; and\n(D) its effect on any project in the most recent approved Transportation Program;\n(2) a statement detailing how the proposal meets the Agency’s criteria developed under this subchapter; and\n(3) proposed legislation to confer authority to the Agency to enter into a P3 agreement with respect to the proposal.","path":["Title 19: Highways","Chapter 026: Design-Build Contracts and Public-Private Partnerships","Subchapter 002: PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP PILOT [REPEALED EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026]"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/19/026/02614","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:03Z","sha256":"dfce18b0b1d4e0c73d70b674d5436c8fcb5f6e66ec48e73a247897949a75c103","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/19-v.s.a.-2613","next":"us-vt/19-v.s.a.-2615"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
