App. ch. 173, § 24","heading":"Purchasing policy","body":"The Town Administrator may expend an amount determined by the Selectboard, and the Selectboard may expend up to one-half of one percent of the then current General Fund budget for any established program without requesting competitive bids. Any other expenditures shall be open to competitive bidding, except if the Selectboard finds that bidding would be of no advantage to the Town.
