{"data":{"id":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-3219","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"26 V.S.A. § 3219","heading":"Issuance of a multistate license","body":"(a) Upon receipt of an application for multistate license, the home state licensing authority shall determine the applicant’s eligibility for a multistate license in accordance with section 3218 of this title.\n(b) If such applicant is eligible pursuant to section 3218 of this title, the home state licensing authority shall issue a multistate license that authorizes the applicant or regulated social worker to practice in all member states under a multistate authorization to practice.\n(c) Upon issuance of a multistate license, the home state licensing authority shall designate whether the regulated social worker holds a multistate license in the bachelor’s, master’s, or clinical category of social work.\n(d) A multistate license issued by a home state to a resident in that state shall be recognized by all Compact member states as authorizing social work practice under a multistate authorization to practice corresponding to each category of licensure regulated in each member state.","path":["Title 26: Professions and Occupations","Chapter 061: Social Workers","Subchapter 002: SOCIAL WORK LICENSURE COMPACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/26/061/03219","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:08Z","sha256":"c1f05419ca338f373db517a91f6003b90ecc2b9df3aa6fc0c152a6e72d87be73","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-3218","next":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-3220"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
