{"data":{"id":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-4153","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"26 V.S.A. § 4153","heading":"Exemptions","body":"The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to:\n(1) a nonresident athletic trainer who does not otherwise practice in this State and who is employed by an out-of-state educational institution or a professional sports team, provided that the nonresident athletic trainer is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association;\n(2) [Repealed.]\n(3) a person duly licensed under the laws of this State who is practicing within the scope of the profession for which the person is licensed; or\n(4) the practice of athletic training that is incidental to a program of study by a person enrolled in an athletic training education program approved by the Director, or graduates of an approved athletic training education program working under the direct supervision of a person licensed under this chapter within 90 days following graduation from that program.","path":["Title 26: Professions and Occupations","Chapter 083: Athletic Trainers"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/26/083/04153","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:08Z","sha256":"c39c61b234edb543d813d0688e2c983f62d9271ed08cebbb75bd4c247d51d2b7","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-4152","next":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-4154"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
