{"data":{"id":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-4403","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"26 V.S.A. § 4403","heading":"Prohibition; penalty; construction","body":"(a) A person shall not use in connection with the person’s name any letters, words, or insignia indicating or implying that the person is a licensed electrologist unless the person is licensed in accordance with this chapter.\n(b) A person shall not practice or attempt to practice electrology or hold himself or herself out as being able to do so in this State without first having obtained a license as required by this chapter.\n(c) A person licensed under this chapter shall not use lasers for hair removal without obtaining from the Director the special license endorsement set forth in subsection 4404(d) of this chapter.\n(d) A person who violates this section shall be subject to the penalties provided in 3 V.S.A. § 127.\n(e) This chapter shall not be construed to limit or restrict in any way the right of a practitioner of another occupation that is regulated by this State from performing services within the scope of his or her professional practice.","path":["Title 26: Professions and Occupations","Chapter 086: Electrologists"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/26/086/04403","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:08Z","sha256":"d5911b75d25e894a46221d33458d8678a7bc6923e0f9720f54f072840632040d","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-4402","next":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-4404"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
