{"data":{"id":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5102","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"26 V.S.A. § 5102","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this chapter:\n(1) “Director” means the Director of the Office of Professional Regulation.\n(2) “License” means a current authorization granted by the Director permitting the practice of pollution abatement facility operation.\n(3) “Permit,” when used as a noun, means an authorization by the Agency of Natural Resources to operate a facility regulated under 10 V.S.A. § 1263.\n(4) “Practice of pollution abatement facility operation” means the operation and maintenance of a facility regulated under 10 V.S.A. § 1263 by a person required by the terms of a permit to hold particular credentials, including those of an “operator,” “assistant chief operator,” or “chief operator.”\n(5) “Pollution abatement facility operator” means a person who is licensed under this chapter, or pursuant to rules developed pursuant to this chapter, to engage in the practice of pollution abatement facility operation consistent with a permit.","path":["Title 26: Professions and Occupations","Chapter 099: Pollution Abatement Facility Operators","Subchapter 001: GENERAL PROVISIONS"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/26/099/05102","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:08Z","sha256":"2b975c8166050757227ff1ddaf7aba6c181ecf747a2b02822aa3c6cecc96ff05","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5101","next":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
