{"data":{"id":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5211","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"26 V.S.A. § 5211","heading":"Duties of the Director","body":"(a) The Director shall:\n(1) provide general information to applicants for licensure as foresters;\n(2) receive applications for licensure and provide licenses to applicants qualified under this chapter;\n(3) provide standards and approve education programs for applicants and for the benefit of foresters who are reentering practice following a lapse of five or more years;\n(4) administer fees as established by law;\n(5) refer all disciplinary matters to an administrative law officer;\n(6) renew, revoke, and reinstate licenses as ordered by an administrative law officer; and\n(7) explain appeal procedures to licensed foresters and to applicants, and complaint procedures to the public.\n(b) The Director may adopt rules necessary to perform his or her duties under this section.","path":["Title 26: Professions and Occupations","Chapter 101: Foresters","Subchapter 002: ADMINISTRATION"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/26/101/05211","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:08Z","sha256":"8a296d761e09c2076a0c15f864811c82c3b38e7ae5f7dc28cffcf17acc3c3042","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5204","next":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5212"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
