{"data":{"id":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5604","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"26 V.S.A. § 5604","heading":"Exemptions","body":"(a) Employees of a business, governmental entity, or other entity that is owned by, employs, or contracts with a licensed qualifying individual are not required to obtain a well-driller license to perform the activities set forth in subdivision 5601(6) of this chapter.\n(b) A person is not required to obtain a well-driller license to perform the following activities:\n(1) exploratory excavations analyzing foundation conditions related to construction;\n(2) constructing wells for the temporary de-watering of construction sites, blasting, soil vapor extraction, air sparging, grounding rod installation, or other practices identified by the Commissioner;\n(3) pump installation and pump servicing; and\n(4) well development, cleaning, and rehabilitation.","path":["Title 26: Professions and Occupations","Chapter 107: Well Drillers"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/26/107/05604","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:08Z","sha256":"7f6a1e3d6b4877c809bdeeb9b3c9bf16b75045f1cd80dcc5ffddd72474edd4e2","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5603","next":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5605"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
