{"data":{"id":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5606","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"26 V.S.A. § 5606","heading":"Advisor appointees","body":"(a) The Secretary of State shall appoint three persons to be advisors to the Director, two of whom shall be well drillers and one of whom shall be a representative of the Agency of Natural Resources. Advisors shall be appointed to five-year staggered terms to serve at the Secretary’s pleasure as advisors in matters related to the administration of this chapter. Two of the initial appointments shall be for a term of fewer than five years.\n(b) A well driller advisor appointee shall have not fewer than three years’ experience as a well driller immediately preceding appointment, shall be licensed as a well driller in Vermont during incumbency, and shall be actively engaged in the practice as a well driller during incumbency.\n(c) The Director shall seek the advice of the advisor appointees in carrying out the provisions of this chapter.","path":["Title 26: Professions and Occupations","Chapter 107: Well Drillers"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/26/107/05606","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T17:17:08Z","sha256":"69e5b6e4a60b21643d2d07638eb496b73ca102b3bd11eb5255f015a63300b51e","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5605","next":"us-vt/26-v.s.a.-5607"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
