{"data":{"id":"us-vt/3-v.s.a.-2310","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"3 V.S.A. § 2310","heading":"Chief Performance Officer","body":"(a) There is created the permanent, exempt position of Chief Performance Officer within the Agency of Administration for the purpose of better developing a culture of performance accountability and continuous improvement across State government. The Chief Performance Officer shall:\n(1) provide advice, recommendations, and consultation to the Executive and Legislative branches of State government about performance improvement and management;\n(2) lead the creation and implementation of a performance improvement and management strategy for State government to ensure effective and efficient government operations;\n(3) assist agencies and departments as necessary in developing, monitoring, managing, and improving performance measures as well as developing strategies that maximize results and return on investment;\n(4) develop and offer trainings, professional development opportunities, and resources for agencies and departments regarding performance improvement and management; and\n(5) provide consultation on the design and implementation of systems that use data and metrics to measure and report performance.","path":["Title 3: Executive","Chapter 045: Administration","Subchapter 005: CHIEF PERFORMANCE OFFICER"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/03/045/02310","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T12:04:51Z","sha256":"865280bf364f60133f83f3a542603cb37b7c778c9a4edd336410f7d7b4075bc7","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/3-v.s.a.-2294","next":"us-vt/3-v.s.a.-2311"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
