App. ch. 20, § Executive Order No. 20-51","heading":"20-51 (No. 10-17) [Activation of Vermont National Guard for Special Duty]","body":"Pursuant to the authority vested in me as Governor of Vermont and Commander-in-Chief, Vermont National Guard by the Constitution of Laws of the State of Vermont, Chapter II, Section 20, and 20 V.S.A. § 601, 603 and 366, and having determined that the necessity of public service requires it, hereby order and direct the Adjutant General of Vermont to order into service, as he may deem appropriate to carry out the purpose of this Order, any and all units of the National Guard of the State of Vermont for the performance of special duty for the purpose of responding to and providing support for a recovery mission at Mt. Pisgah in Westmore, Vermont.\nThe Adjutant General of the State of Vermont is authorized and directed to take all appropriate steps to assist in the performance of this special duty.\nPayment for personnel performing the State service shall be in accordance with the provisions of 20 V.S.A. § 603.\nThis Order shall take effect upon signing.\nDated May 17, 2017.\nADDENDUM TO EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 10-17\nWHEREAS, pursuant to Executive Order 10-17, the Vermont National Guard has provided special duty services for the purpose of responding to and providing support for a recovery mission at Mt. Pisgah in Westmore, Vermont.\nWHEREAS, the recovery mission has been successfully completed effective May 19, 2017.\nNOW THEREFORE, I, Philip B.
