{"data":{"id":"us-vt/33-v.s.a.-2203","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"33 V.S.A. § 2203","heading":"Program components","body":"(a) The continuum of services shall consist of the following:\n(1) level 1: prevention and diversion services;\n(2) level 2: shelter services:\n(A) level 2A: highly structured shelter services; and\n(B) level 2B: low-barrier shelter services;\n(3) level 3: specialized shelter services;\n(4) level 4: hotels and motels;\n(5) permanent supportive housing services; and\n(6) other emergency housing services.\n(b) The Office shall address each of the services in subsection (a) of this section by separate line items in its budget. The Department shall be responsible for any transfers to other Agency of Human Services departments necessary to implement the services listed in subsection (a) of this section. The Department and other departments within the Agency of Human Services shall maximize federal receipts, as applicable, for services listed in subsection (a) of this section.\n(c) Upon assessing a household’s needs, the Office or community partners shall offer to place the household in the appropriate level of care to address the household’s specific needs if capacity, staffing, and geographic accessibility are available.","path":["Title 33: Human Services","Chapter 022: Vermont Homelessness Response Continuum"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/33/022/02203","current_through":"2026 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-10-25T17:06:26Z","sha256":"698a5d26b40bbba96a93be886d0d7692a3fb50ee9e1eda70a8bfdc8109fdc609","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/33-v.s.a.-2202","next":"us-vt/33-v.s.a.-2204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
