{"data":{"id":"us-vt/6-v.s.a.-380","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"6 V.S.A. § 380","heading":"Administrative penalty","body":"Consistent with chapter 1 of this title, the Secretary may assess an administrative penalty upon determining that a person has violated a rule issued under this chapter or has violated this chapter in the following manner:\n(1) distributed a specialty fertilizer, beneficial substance, or lime without first obtaining the appropriate product registration;\n(2) distributed a fertilizer, beneficial substance, or lime without appropriate and accurate labeling, including when a beneficial substance label does not reflect its composition;\n(3) distributed any adulterated fertilizer, beneficial substance, or lime;\n(4) failed to disclose on the label sources of potentially deleterious components;\n(5) failed to report or to accurately report the amount and form of each grade of fertilizer distributed in Vermont on an annual basis;\n(6) failed to report or to accurately report the amount and form of each formulation of beneficial substance;\n(7) failed to pay the appropriate tonnage fee; or\n(8) violated a cease and desist order.","path":["Title 6: Agriculture","Chapter 028: Fertilizer, Lime, and Beneficial Substances"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/06/028/00380","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T12:46:51Z","sha256":"4fab5b038277252e273979e676807c598b5036422c040f3bac38b63c4939eabb","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/6-v.s.a.-379","next":"us-vt/6-v.s.a.-381"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
