{"data":{"id":"us-vt/7-v.s.a.-254","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"7 V.S.A. § 254","heading":"Special venue serving permits","body":"[Subsection (a) effective until July 1, 2026; see also subsection (a) effective July 1, 2026 set out below.]\n(a) The Division of Liquor Control may grant an art gallery, retail establishment, public library, or museum a special venue serving permit if the applicant has:\n(1) received approval from the local control commissioners;\n(2) submitted a request for a permit to the Division in a form required by the Commissioner at least five days prior to the event; and\n(3) paid the fee provided in section 204 of this title.\n[Subsection (a) effective July 1, 2026; see also subsection (a) effective until July 1, 2026 set out above.]\n(a) The Division of Liquor Control may grant an art gallery, public library, or museum a special venue serving permit if the applicant has:\n(1) received approval from the local control commissioners;\n(2) submitted a request for a permit to the Division in a form required by the Commissioner at least five days prior to the event; and\n(3) paid the fee provided in section 204 of this title.\n(b) A permit holder may purchase malt beverages, vinous beverages, or ready-to-drink spirits beverages directly from a licensed retailer.\n(c) A permit holder shall be subject to the provisions of this title and the rules of the Board regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
